Didn’t get a picture, because I was absolutely mesmerized by the open exhaust spitting and barking at every shift on the PCH.

Dana Point. We were headed back to LAX to fly home, and just got off 5 to get gas there.
Not sure it was the exact same car, but it definitely was a GTV with the four leaf clover and open exhaust. Had a number on the door too.
